La La Land (2016) ****

I went in a skeptic and I walked out won over. La La Land (2016) is not perfect, it's glazed over (it is a Musical after all), and it's a bit overhyped but damn, if I didn't get swept up in the emotions, the colors, and the choreography. I actually think the singing musical numbers are the weakest part of the film, but most everything else was gold. Great chemistry between the leads and the ending was perfect. Consider me inspired.
