THE DANMAN CAN

My first band, Sector Nine Eight, existed from 1996–2004. The experiences that I shared with the other three gentlemen in S98 (friends to this day) continue to be cherished memories.  Earlier this year, my friend (and former boss) Kevin Colburn (leader of my second band, PELT , which existed from 2003–2004 AD) shared one of the only full performances of an S98 set that we know to exist (big thanks for filming this, Kevin!). Earlier this year Unemployed In Greenland (in the incarnation listed below) performed  Weezer ’s Blue Album  (in sequence, in its entirety) at my buddy Neal's Summer Party. It was the first time I had performed live music in many years. It was extra special to share a stage with all of my former bandmates from my first band, Sector Nine Eight, (Neal, Dave, and special guest Kevin for one song). It was also awesome to play with high school friend Sean from another band, Outlet, who shared bills with S98 on numerous occasions in the ‘90s.
