Krull   (1983) is the best big budget box office failure cult  Star Wars / Excalibur / The Lord Of The Rings   (with hints of  H.R. Giger ) knockoff in existence. I absolutely love the creativity and production design on screen in this film. Recommended for fans of  The Dark Crystal  (1982) ( review ),  Legend  (1985) ( review) , and Willow   (1988).
