Wait Until Dark (1967) ****

Wait Until Dark (1967) finds Terence Young (who directed three of the best Bond films) doing his best Hitchcock and Edwards plus another winning (and deliciously dissonant) score by Mancini. Hepburn is typically great, and Arkin is slimy-sinister. An excellent blend of humor and tangible threat with a terribly suspenseful finale.
