Miracle Mile (1988) *****

Despite some limitations, despite some flaws, despite the far-fetched nature of the plot, I still award Miracle Mile a perfect score on this "Take 2" viewing (first viewing reaction here). There just really is no other film like this one, which features an incredible screenplay, impressive staging/visuals, possibly Tangerine Dream's best score, and one of the all-time great movie endings.
