Suburban Gothic (2014) ***1/2

A breezy, funny "horror comedy". Like a lighter John Waters meets Kevin Smith meets Todd Solondz. Richard Bates' other 2 films are much darker (though still full of black humor), but I still really enjoyed this one. Silly and fun.
