Fright Night Part II (1988) ***
Fright Night Part II (1988) is a worthy follow-up which is perhaps somewhat unfairly maligned. Tommy Lee Wallace imbues the film with solid direction, strong visuals, and fun new characters.
FNII is a bit goofier than its predecessor (review), the f/x aren’t as great, and it’s a touch too long but it helps that Roddy McDowall and William Ragsdale reprised their roles and Brad Fiedel returned to score. All in all, a good sequel.
