The Old Dark House (1932) **1/2

Pretty unimpressed with this one. Too much unfunny comedy, wooden acting, and melodramatic romance, and not enough "scares". James Whale made some classics—FRANKENSTEIN, BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN and THE INVISIBLE MAN—but this isn't among them. Love the poster though.
