Depressingly relevent. Takes place 10 years from now but seems pretty feasible.

Wait Until Dark (1967) ****

Image
Wait Until Dark (1967) finds  Terence Young   (of 3 of the best  Bond  films fame) doing his best  Hitchcock  and  Edwards , with another winning (and deliciously dissonant) score by  Mancini .  Hepburn  is typically great and  Arkin  is slimy-sinister. An excellent blend of humor and tangible threat and a terribly suspenseful finale.
