The Menu (2022) ***

In a movie filled with pretentious characters, The Menu (2022) works well precisely due to its lack of pretense. It's a pretty straightforward story, just clever enough, and quite entertaining. Nothing earth-shattering, just a solid black comedy horror romp where shitheads get their comeuppance—cinema schadenfreude.
