Savage Sisters (1974) **1/2

Savage Sisters (1974) is a semi-solid AIP sorta-WIP flick with a few memorable lines and some piss-poor action sequences. It's surprisingly devoid of sleaze which would be fine if the film was a bit stronger. Still, there are some amusing characters and situations in this low budget Filipino revolutionary comedy—in particular the cigar chomping, speedo-fashioned con man played by John Ashley and, if you're not too offended by his broad delivery, the cartoon bandito played by Sid Haig.
