Nemesis (1992) ***

Nemesis (1992) really leans into its influences—those being Blade Runner (1982) (review), The Terminator (1984), RoboCop (1987) (review), and The Killer (1989) (review)—but still manages to be a fun ride and endearingly earnest. Everyone is super sexy and cool and very '90s (endless styles of sunglasses) and the action is mostly quite good. The performances and dialogue are pretty silly but I could never hate on a film that tries (and, in my opinion, succeeds) to be entertaining popcorn fare.
