Midnight Run (1988) ****

It's a touch too long and not always necessarily "laugh out loud" funny, but Midnight Run (1988) is a fun and breezy buddy road movie with well-timed action and some genuinely moving moments. Robert De Niro and Charlies Grodin have an excellent chemistry, Grodin is perfectly charming, and all the supporting characters (what a cast) are wonderful. I can't believe this was my first time watching the film.
