GoodFellas (1990) *****

Endlessly watchable, quotable, rewarding, influential, and mimicked, GoodFellas (1990) is the greatest gangster film ever made. Equal parts hilarious, disturbing, alluring and fascinating, it's a perfect film filled with indelible characters, superb performances, fantastic and boundless needle drops, and legendary cinematography by Michael Ballhaus. Scorsese's (one of my Top 20 Directors) masterpiece is my favorite of the director's work and one of my Top 100 Films.
