Chinatown (1974) ***** [Jake Gittes Double Feature Pt. 1]
A perfect film filled with perfect performances, cinematography, production design, and music, and one that holds up to scrutiny and rewatches (R.I.P. Robert Towne). If anyone says this movie isn't perfect, tell them, "Forget it. It's Chinatown."
