Ferrara pseudo-intellectual psychosexual bullshit: Cyberpunk Edition

(I say that as a fan of the man's work.)

New Rose Hotel (1998) lacks cohesion and excitement, but it's an interesting experiment with some evocative photography. Tonally it reminds me of Underworld (1985) [review] mixed with David Lynch and Shinya Tsukamoto.
