Mad Max, The Wizard Of Oz (1939) [review], and The Shaw Brothers, but make it campy and rockabilly.

Lance Mungia's Six-String Samurai (1998) is a film that I stumbled upon via Blockbuster VHS rental in the late '90s. I can't help but still be amused by its goofy, low budget charm, genre mashing, and fun soundtrack.
