Stopmotion (2023) ***

Stopmotion (2023) doesn't really offer any surprises, story wise, but this creepy, gooey tortured artist/mommy issues movie features undeniably striking imagery and a dedicated performance by Aisling Franciosi.

Recommended for fans of May (2002) (review), Excision (2012) (review), and Eraserhead (1977) (review).
