Prague Nights (Prazske noci) (1969) is a terrific Czech anthology film, comprising three tales (and of course a wraparound) that are all at once old fashioned, modern, absurd, fantastical, mythical, mysterious, horrific, and coquettish. Full of surreal imagery, devilish humor, and playful performances, Prague Nights is a wonderful dark fairy tale for adults.
